I talked to DH this weekend about a time table for us to officially start TTC. He surprised me with a "the sooner the better!" So considering I am currently on CD 28 without yet ovulating, I figured it was time to call the Dr. I was afraid they would make me come in and do a bunch of tests like last time... The nurse just called me back and said they are calling in a Clomid script for me! Then they want to see me on CD 24 of that cycle to check my ovaries (that's new - last...

DH didn't want to stop last night, so we drove all the way through until we got home. We arrived home around 11:30.

Also posted in STTA, but my period is horrible right now. I'm on CD3, and the bleeding is just out of control. I'm having to change less than every 2hrs, and it's soaked! I normally only have to change out about every 4hrs, but could even go longer if necessary. I don't know what's going on. I was in soooo much pain yesterday & I tried to take it easy, but easier said than done. I told Adam that my whole "area" down there felt as though I had just given...

So this is our first month of trying for #3, I'm super excited, but a bit nervous. Last month I had a + OPK on day 18 of a 28 day cycle. I've decided that I'll start testing again around day 10 or so and BD like crazy!!

So AF still hasn't shown, but I am still getting BFNs. I really think the + opk I got on CD 25 was actually cause I was about to O, and when I inputed that in FF it changed my O day to CD 26??? It could be right, in which case I didn't BD anywhere near there
Also, me and DH have been talking a lot lately about not trying anymore. I know it has only been a few cycles, but TTC SERIOUSLY stresses me out and I get so...

I haven't seen AF yet. My average on FF says 12 dpo. The max is 14 dpo. So now I'm wondering if it's just going to be a long lp, or if we've finally done it right. We are still on vacation, and we won't be home until Tuesday. I might wait until then, or dh and I may end up going to the pharmacy here to find a test! I don't want to get my hopes up yet though, until I know for sure. Since I forgot my basal thermometer, I don't know what's going on! Keep your...

hey ladies-
Sorry I have been M.I.A.- we are in florida with family, how fun, until tommorow, but I couldnt wait to post anymore. so AF was due on friday and yes I know last month I totally freaked out, but I started spotting the other day, just very light brownish spotting, DH and I DTD on thursday and as soon as we were done had to take a shower b/c it appeared AF had shown(which would have been a 34 day cycle), so yesterday and today I have been using tampons with brown spotting...

I tested again this morning, and got a BFN. I'm OK with it though. I can't believe I haven't gotten AF or BFP yet... so many "symptoms"

Timing question for a friend

A friend is ttcing her 2nd. She uses the CBFM. Her dh was tested before her 1st and everything was normal.

She said her nurse told her to start BDing every other day starting day 12. She Os between day 17 & 19. She says it's hard for her and dh to stay enthusiastic that many days each cycle (I think it's the "HAVE to DTD" that kills the mood - as we all probably are well aware!)

Since I had IUIs for both my girls, I wasn't sure what to tell...

What would a DOC do?

What do you think a doc would for me? I've been since March 2007. My cycles are regular. I have known fertility problems. I have two healthy children and had a chemical pregnancy in Jan. 08. My DH probably has good quality considering I got pregnant very quickly with the other two. Just assuming all was fine, what would my OB even consider doing for me? She told me to come in March '08 if I wasn't pregnant by then, but I never went in. I'm happily in the 2WW right...

Just tested and it was BFN I haven't completely given up hope yet, my temp took a big jump this AM and I still feel the same, so maybe it's just too early

Effects of weight on ovulation?

I know that being overweight can effect ovulation, as well as being underweight. Although I wasn't super overweight when we TTC #1, I wondered if the few extra pounds I was carrying may have contributed to my wacky cycles?

Anyway, since January of this year I have lost 25 lbs. So I thought maybe this would be a good thing in terms of my ovulating. But last night I read in my "Taking Charge of your Fertilty" book that women who lose 10-15 % of their body weight will...

to start TTC again! Things have been going really well lately and hopefully they will continue and we can bring some more joy into the family. We aren't going to go through the stress again of all the temping and opk stuff but I am going to make an appointment after the holiday weekend to see the OB about going on BCP for a couple months to even things out. That is the only thing I haven't tried (without going to the RE)...and that is how I got PG with Hannah so we will try that...

We are leaving at 4 am tomorrow morning to head North on our vacation.

I think this cycle is a bust, my bb's are tender (like they are every month before AF arrives), and my temps haven't been too high. I've packed plenty of pads, expecting her arrival. I'm going to try to continue to temp, since that usually tells me which day she'll be here. I'm taking my laptop, and I'll try to log on and update you when I can, depending on where we can get internet...

When we TTC'd the 1^st time it took us 10 months. I had very long, irregular cycles - I was ovulating, but not until anywhere from CD30 - CD50. We finally got our BFP after 1 round of Clomid.

When I went for my annual checkup I told my OB that we were contemplating another child.

Is it possible...

to O without getting a positive Ovulation test? My temps have slowly been climbing over the past 4-5 days, but I've been testing daily & not even getting a close positive test. I have PCOS & never O'd on my own without clomid, but my doctor seems to think that I might O on my own after this hormone therapy I just went through. Please help me out!!!

....But I really think I am PG My chart looks like crap (I have been off work for almost 2 weeks, waking up at different times) and I didn't get a + OPK (but have o'd in the past without seeing a + OPK), but I feel just like I did when I was PG with Emma. I even looked back at all my FF notes from that BFP and my symptoms are the same (cramps, nausea, sore bbs).
