I know some prefer to wash the baby's clothes in fragrence and dye free detergent, but for those of you that didn't, is there anything milder on the market that leaves the clothes smelling "baby fresh"? I was thinking maybe Downey? I think that's what my mom used to use when we were little??

If you've done it, could you please read on if only one of your numbers was over the limit.
Only one of mine was, between hours 1 and 2, and it was only over by 4 points. So, if you've been in a similar situation, what were you told? Were you told congrats, you don't have GD and good bye? Hi girls--well, I'm going for the epidural route as of right now (unless I think i can manage the labor pain last minute).......since I have no idea how painful labor will be for me, I want to be prepared...

So for those of you who have had an epidural, I'd like some positive stories please............overall I'm not worried about getting one-I'm just concerned about the "not feeling the pushing" factor---even though you can't feel yourself pushing,...

i failed. the one time i didn't want to get a positive in a test. i got a call from my doc's nurse scheduling me with a high risk OB that will be seeing me for my gestational diabetes for the next two months. i have an appointment tomorrow at their offices for a dietary class that's 2hrs long.

i'm bummed. a little scared but not as much as i was with my pregnancy with Naima. i know what to do and i know i can have a healthy baby as long as i follow the healthy...

tonsil surgery

Hi all

my son needs a tonsil surgery . and it is schedule for june 26. i'm so scared .... does any of you had your kids going thru this surgery and how did it go ? He is 4 and his tonsils are very large almost touching each other so i decided to schedule the surgery now as he is going to summer camp in july and i'll probably have my c-section in august .

Advice re large babies and after delivery?

Has anyone here been told or have had, a very large baby and how it affected the delivery and how baby was after delivery?

Last week my friend Zara, was 31 weeks and measuring 37, and is due to have a sizing scan tomorrow to see the weight. She is extremely anxious about having a large baby because her first born had complications because of his size (nearly 10llb) and hardly saw him for 4 days which caused lots of problems.

Who's still doin' it?!

We are still DTD but it's a lot less because we can't find a comfortable position, I usually spot afterwards, and it's painful/sensitive in the nether regions.

But I still want to keep DTD because I know as long as everything's okay, it's good for bringing on labor closer to when it is time. I just don't see how this is going to happen with my ever-increasing size.

Any BTDT moms DTD up until delivery? Did it...

Bio Band for morning sickness?

Has anyone else tried one of the bracelets that help relieve morning sickness? I bought the bio band from morningsicknesshelp.com (or something like that) and I'm waiting on it to arrive. I'm wondering if these things really work, though I'm willing to try just about anything.

her babys head is already engaged and shes had a bloody show some pains and pressure...anyone have something similar going on at that gestation?...and still made it to 37weeks?...she was also having twins but one passed away at 17.4weeks so techincally shes still pregnant with twins...her midwife is trying to get Danielle prepared for having a premmie...i hope she can stay but for aleast another 8weeks...

Hi all. I'm trying to remember with DS, but I think they said no driving for 6 weeks after a c-section. Do they still advise this? My husband is taking off 2 weeks, but after that I have to drive DS to his toddler program.

Has any one that has had a 4th degree episiotomy/tear have a better second delivery? I'm scared of going through it again and was wondering if your second delivery was any better.
