Siobhan, of course I haven't forgotten you guys, just a little harder these days to get on here and write...I am thinking of you too and sorry the femera isn't treating you so well...I did femera a few months with clomid and didn't much like it either, but like you said it will be worth it in the end. I too am crossing everything for you too... We need some BFP's here on the clomid board, and it's about time I say. I'm so sorry you're having such a difficult time with this. You know, it just wasn't meant to be this hard! Siobhan - I wish I could do Femara again. I loved it, but most dr's around here stopped using it. We found out dh has a varicocele, but he won't do anything about it. Why even ttc if he's not going to help?! We are trying to adopt through the foster care system, but they're giving us the run-around. It's been about 2 months and I don't even think they've processed our application! I feel that this month we've really got our timing down, even though I couldn't find any opks. The chemists look at me as if I have two heads, when I ask.All I took was clomid. I haven't seen my doc as he was away for the holidays. Of course I daren't get excited ,as I always do, and then am horribly let down! I have started taking progesterone pills 3x a day. I took baby asprin around 'o' then I will do the heparin shots again. Incidentally, does anyone know why some docs say to start heparin 5 days after +opk and others, like mine says 7 days before next expected period? Siobhan where are you in your cycle? Krista thanks for your wishes. And wow! Martienne, I thought you got lost in the ether, and were floating in cyberspace! Great to hear from you.Stay near! Ivf is not free here, but, certainly nowhere near as expensive in the U.S. We'll see. Not only was I bummed at turning another year older at the weekend, the place we went to eat had made me a cake- no candles thankfully! We are friends with the owners, and I was very touched at the kind gesture of her making a cake. I just could have done without the little plastic 'baby' sign. It was not meant to upset me, Greeks are very direct in asking personal questions it's a way to get to know each other and generally I like it, rather than the standoff-ish attitude of some Brits. I was just too sensitive. From her point of view, we've been married for long enough to have kids, so she says 'try'.(lol) Would it really shock them if I told them that we have been trying since before we were married? I am so thrilled for you. Having three children close in age is wonderful, yes I know I don't have any, so my opinion doesn't really count. I'm sure it will be very hard to juggle in the early years, but your kids will love it, they've always got a playmate. There's not many months between my brother and I and it was great as a kid. I wish you a very healthy and happy pregnancy, and sorry for being so slow with the congratulations. x

My uterus was cramping up just like it does during a miscarriage, so I thought for sure that's what it was. But I never bled! So weird. The heating pad worked its magic right when I was about to go to the hospital, so I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow and see if he wants to check it all out. I'm baffled. Today there's no more cramping, but I have acid reflux now. I'm guessing it's related. Dh is hoping it was extreme implantation cramps. I suppose he has the right to dream, right? I'm afraid I've been quite depressed and just 'blah' and not done much of anything, 'cept trying to pull myself out of it. Last month my doc did a D&C. He thought this might clear me out to make my womb more receptive to implantation, he said it's looks good and healthy now. The only problem was he did this on cd 11 and although we bd the next night and thereafter and on cd9 I'm wondering if I 'o'd on cd11. My period usually arrives without fail cd29 today is cd31. hpts read neg. but no af. My right ovary area is quite sore, I'm hoping not another cyst. If it doesn't come by tomorrow I think I'll have a hcg/beta blod test done. I have to know one way or the other before Tues. as we are away to visit my dad for a couple of weeks and need to see my doc here before I go to find out what's going on. Oldtimer Posts: 1323 03/20/2008 10:43 AM	Janie, if you had a d&c on cd 11, I would HIGHLY doubt that you would have a period on cd29. A d&c cleans you out more than a normal period does... it takes EVERYTHING. So there's nothing to bleed out just 2 weeks later. I can take up to a couple of months to get your period back after a d&c. I hope the cleaning out does the trick and you see your bfp very soon.

I'm seeing a chiropractor for my infertility now. She's Chinese and she has me on all sorts of herbal stuff. So far I can tell it's straightening my body out, so I have renewed hope. But, dh just joined the Army National Guard after a 15 year military "hiatus" (previously marine corps). He might be going to Kosovo, so we may be forced to stop the ttc journey. I swear by chinese medicine... and I truly believe that is what helped me get pg with Carson... I was dignosed with my FSH at 24 and I had only been doing the acupuncture for about 1 1/2 months and I swear that is what got my mind and body to a place where it coudl happen... Martienne, I hope youd on't have to put your ttc efforts on hold... and that you chiropractor can help you... i too took herbs and I swear they worked. Krista
