Maddy is having her heart defects repaired on Wednesday. So, we are leaving for the hospital tomorrow morning for all of her pre-op appointments. This
surgery has been hanging over our heads since she was born and we cannot wait to have it over with. I am so glad though, that we have been able to get her to
11 lbs. for her surgery. She was only a little over 7 lbs. when she had her 1st heart surgery- and it was the doctor's goal to get her to at least 10 lbs.
for this one!! So, she is in the best shape she can be in for the surgery. We will have our laptop with us at the hospital and I will post updates often.

I was born with congenital heart defects and I am doing well. I am 15 weeks pregnant and never thought I would be able to have children because of my heart,
but I am doing great and I am thrilled to have this opportunity. What I am trying to say is that science has come a long way and I am sure your little one
