Oldtimer Posts: 2390 07/23/2008 8:44 AM	Tags : None For vacation! I'm excited but SO anxious about leaving my daughter for the first time. She will be staying with my parents for the week at my house. I've already vented about it in 2007 mommies so I won't do it here too! We will be gone from Sunday morning till late Friday night. We're staying at a beach resort and our room has a fireplace and overlooks the ocean! Walking distance to the beach! Now we just have to figure out what else we want to explore! Well, friends of ours went and said it was beautiful, and it was a big plus that we didn't have to fly, because I am terrified of flying. DH thought it would have a lot of historical things, which he likes. We also thought it would be more affordable that a lot of other places. We'll have to see about that part though! lol DH also isn't a big fan of tropical places, he hates the heat and could care less about beaches... Gold Member Over 10,000 posts !!! Oldtimer Posts: 11061 07/24/2008 7:09 AM Miracle #2 Due in August!	Hey Nicole! Be sure to pack for all sorts of weather. It's been a lot less warm than normal this summer and it gets cold on the coast at times even though it's the middle of summer!
